Gionee M2017: Phone with 7000 mAh battery! Price, Specifications & More
Gionee M2017: Phone with 7000 mAh battery Gionee has launched the Gionee M2017 in China. The biggest USP of the device is its battery, a massive 7000 mAh . It's a luxury smartphone having some impressive specs with an “elegant” and fresh design. Many Luxury Smartphone makers just wrap simple devices in top-notch material and sell those mobiles as some high-end devices . Gionee however, is trying something new, it’s giving a premium mobile at a premium price.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finding this Microsoft fix. I have been helping a friend with their laptop which had this problem with Windows Update. I tried for 2 days with different "solutions". His Windows Update was not even working anymore. This seems to have fixed everything. No more than 50% of his 4GB is now used when Windows Update is running. Still a lot of ram to run this compared with other operating systems; but so long as it works.
Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention. Good luck with your blog.
Спасибо, друг! Я не знал про это обновление, буду пробовать :) (Thanks)

Thanks, this helped me out a lot.
ReplyDeleteIT WORKS!!!! I was at the edge of collapse after 2 days trying some so called "solutions" without success. That's when I found (3 hours ago) your solution. I already downloaded, installed and tested the fix you mention lines above, and this is the result: No more high use of memory (it went up more than 2 GBs) and CPU (100%). Thank you. Really thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteThank You very much to share the review. Not many people bother to come back and share their reviews. Cheerful comments like yours always always motivates me to produce new content.
DeleteThank you very much for this fix. I got this problem with 3 laptops. Before, RAM increased always till almost 100%. After this fix, Windows Update finally works while using around 200-500MB!

ReplyDeleteFrom my experience, "svchost.exe" is needed to do the Windows Updates in my Windows 7 machines. They take hours to update after a new install of Win.7 (or a long time without doing regular updates) because of the nature of how Windows 7 does its updates compared to previous versions of Windows. Once the initial Windows updates are complete (which can take 4 hours+), the high CPU and high memory usage issue isn't so bad with subsequent updates as the they are considerably smaller, as long as you keep up with regular updates. I hope this helps those who wonder why "svchost.exe" continues at high cpu levels for so long. Have faith, your CPU will go back to normal after the Windows Update is complete.
ReplyDeletevery helpful. thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for this! My CPU would go up to 100% as soon as I started my computer, and never go down, even with no programm running. I could not do anything properly and was starting to think I would have to buy a new computer with a better CPU. However, with this update, the CPU usage went immediately down. I hope it will last! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThank you. After 3 weeks of pulling hair out your tip worked. I have 3 more computers to apply fix to.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Three more laptops to apply fix to. I have been chasing this for three weeks.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I installed Win 7 Pro with SP 1 and had this problem right from the start. Windows update would not find any updates to install but the process sat there consuming close to 100% of one core. After many attempted tweaks I found your post and after installing the update Windows Update finally work properly and installed a further 151 updates. Now, the next day however, it appears to back to the same old issue (svchost.exe consuming 100% of 1 core). Frustrating.
ReplyDeleteDisabling WU service does alleviate the problem, so I installed KB3138612, but after reboot netsvcs is still using 100% of one CPU. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteDude, your fix worked like a charm. I spent 2 days trying to find a workaround, installed (or tried to install rather) about a bagillion different standalone updates or 'hotfixes', and this is the only one that worked.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I was starting to have the same problem this evening after some updates installed recently. This "Fix" worked like a champ and it didnt take too long to find your post here. I wanted to send a very appreciative and heartfelt Thank You!! Its people like you that keep the world running

ReplyDeleteThanks a million, pal. It solved my memory hog problem effectively :-)
ReplyDeleteDidn't help me my idle memory usage is still 71.6%
ReplyDeleteThis Memory Leak on my teacher's Win7 laptop is running Update KB3138612, but is still leaking into the MAXED OUT RAM... :( It turns out there were 3 Critical Updates, it said. Now we're installing them. An easier solution is to: Open Task Manager > Select Processes > Find svchost.exe > Right Click > Set Priority to Low. Hope this helps! XP
ReplyDeleteI was looking to fix this bug since more than last 6 month. Installed many fixes but this "Fix" worked like a champ. I wanted to send a very appreciative Thank You!! God bless you.
