Xiaomi is likely to bring gift this New Year. Xiaomi is looking to launch the successor of it's most popular phone Redmi Note 3. The launch of Xiaomi
Redmi Note 4 is expected to be in mid-January 2017. The
Redmi Note 4 was first
launched in China in august 2016.
After creating ripples in under 10-k budget market by using Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s prime, it's ready to create a bang this new year.
The Specifications of Redmi Note 4
The original Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was powered by a MediaTek X20 Helio chipset, but the Indian version of Redmi Note 4 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC. As Xiaomi still cannot sell phones having MediaTek Chipsets due to a court ruling.
Let's talk about more features of the Redmi Note 4
It comes with a 5.5-inch FullHD display sporting a 2.5D curved display, giving a pixel density of 401ppi.
The Redmi Note 4 will be launched with two
storage options
16 GB or 32 GB which is expandable to
128GB using a microSD card.
The phone is expected to come in different
RAM (2GB/3GB/4GB).
The latest Redmi phone is going to have a
fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone as well.
In terms of design language, the
Redmi Note 4 does not look very different from the phone it will most likely replace – the Redmi Note 3.
The phone is going to have
Android 6.0 marshmallow out-of-the-box topped with
MIUI which we can expect to be upgradable to MIUI 9 and Android 7.0 .

Other features include a dual SIM card support with hybrid SIM card slot, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB, infra-red port.
The smartphone comes in three colour options including
Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey.
The latest phone is going to have a
13MP rear camera with
dual tone LED flash unit, PDAF and a
5MP front-facing camera. Just like its predecessor, the Redmi Note 4 will come with a large capacity
4100mAh battery.
