How to boot into safe mode in windows 7?

To boot in windows 7 safe mode
  • Restart your computer.
  • Now tap F8 key before the "Starting Windows" appear.
  • It will open Advanced Startup Menu.
  • Select 'Safe Mode' and press Enter.


How to boot into safe mode in windows 10? | How to boot into safe mode in windows 8?

To boot in windows 10 safe mode

  • Launch Run by pressing windows key+R.
  • Now type msconfig in the dialog box and press Enter.boot in safe mode type msconfig in run
  • Switch to 'Boot' tab and check the box 'Safe Boot'.safe mode in windows 10
  • Select Apply and click OK.
  • Restart and you are done.
 Now the windows will boot in safe mode.

This method also works for windows 7 , windows 8 and windows 8.1

 Alternate method: Press shift and click restart in start menu together to boot in safe mode in windows 10. It's like Shift+restart.

How to boot into safe mode with network?

Safe mode with networking gives you access to network. You can use and fix problems using wired connection.


  • To boot in safe mode with network in windows 7 select 'safe mode with networking' instead of 'safe mode'.


  • To boot into safe mode with network in windows 8 and 10 select 'Network' instead of 'Minimal'


How to turn off safe mode in windows 10?
